TRAI had soft penalties against unsolicited calls

Consecutive penalties in cases of unsolicited calls and SMS troubled telecom operators , telecom regulator TRAI has given a big relief . Penalty in these cases the rules of TRAI has softened . According to the new rules on complaints at week 50 , no fine shall be imposed on operators .
So far every unwanted calls and SMS complaint was provided for a fine of Rs 5,000 . Under the new rules, the penalty shall be imposed on a certain number of complaints received .


TRAI issued by the new slab between 50 and 300 complaints per week in each case be fined Rs 1,000 . In each case 301 to 700 complaints and more complaints from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 fines in each case . The regulator said that the recent sharp decline in the number of complaints .
Vodafone , Aircel TRAI service quality index of over billing dispute , according to a report in the June quarter of the current financial year, Vodafone , Aircel , Idea and BSNL billing dispute against the worst cases .
